Location: Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital - Charlotte, NC; Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital is the region's only orthopedic hospital, centrally located just outside of uptown Charlotte. Charlotte is a growing city offering big city amenities including national sports teams, the US National Whitewater Center, an international airport, and thriving arts and culture scene. The Charlotte region offers options for urban, suburban, or rural living with a cost of living lower than the national average. We're just a short drive from both the beach and the mountains.
Practice: COH has 7 ORs and 2 procedure/trauma rooms plus 5 ORs and 2 procedure rooms at Center City Outpatient Surgery Center - will support both locations; case load includes orthopedic, general, plastics, peds general, gyn, robotic gyn, urology; no NORA cases
As a CRNA Supervisor at Novant Health's Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, you'll be trusted to deliver expert, independent anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures and patient needs. From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.

Responsibilities:
* Supervise the clinical work of CRNAs and anesthesia technicians
* Coordinate the activities of the CRNAs with the anesthesiologists to provide for best patient care
* Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care
* Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical procedures
* Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
* Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
* Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
* Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
Qualifications:
* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN required. Graduate from both an accredited School of Nursing and an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
* Experience: Minimum of two years as a CRNA, required.
* Licensure/Certification: Current CRNA licensure in appropriate state, required. Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
* Additional Skills (required): Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic care suitable to patient age. Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians.
