Responsibilities:
Key Activities and responsibilities 
* Should have global exposure and keep abreast of new trends and future advancements in their field of expertise to bring best practices into project execution for -

* HP API
* Biotechnology

* Should primarily operate in the India market with the flexibility to extend support to APAC, EMEA, and US regions as required.
* Should be connected with IPS global SMEs as needed and as community of practices.
* Should lead the team in conceptualizing, front-end engineering, and detailed engineering while providing various options and value addition in process engineering to enhance project outcomes.
* Establishes contact with potential clients and obtains the client's history to develop a client profile.
* Engages as Subject Matter Experts to enhance IPS brand and client engagement, developing client and sub-contractor relations and promoting IPS brand awareness.
* Participates in events to promote BD initiatives by seeking out new projects with existing or new clients.
* Contributes to the preparation and delivery of strategic sales presentations and proposals for the Life Sciences region.
* Coordinates with project management teams and discipline directors to determine the scope, complexity, and requirements of projects.
* Defines an appropriate, cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals.
* Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of work in alignment with process architectural and process design principles, and compliance with established IPS standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances.
* Regularly reviews productivity and quality reports to ensure optimal performance.
* Facilitates master planning, feasibility studies, and conceptual design for assigned projects.
* Defines design philosophies and facility design parameters for special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

20 + Years of Process Design experience within the Pharmaceutical industry into HPAPI or Biotechnology.

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College, in Engineering or relevant science, Masters/Ph.D. will be preferred.
* Strong proficiency in office software, including MW Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
* GMP design experience along with regulatory requirement of various international bodies.
* General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering.
* Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example: speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.)
* Proven experience interacting and communicating directly with clients and leading conceptual design efforts.
* Has a demonstrated ability to manage projects, problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel, time manage, and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
