Responsibilities:
* What You'll Do:
* This position will execute and administer various types of pre-award Subcontract Agreements and conduct pre-award proposal activities ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, legal guidelines, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements
* Key Responsibilities:
* Work on complex subcontract matters in both domestic and contingency locations
* Provide Program Management with contractual guidance while exercising sound ethical and professional judgment within a broadly defined best practice and written policy structure.
* Responsible for protecting the legal and financial interest of V2X during all discussions and interactions with customers and suppliers.
* Drafts Request for Proposals
* Develop source selection criteria
* Analyzes cost/price data to determine price reasonableness
* Leads negotiation efforts with subcontractors
* Reviews and interprets clauses, formal amendments, agreements and legal documents.
* Supports all internal and external audits and provides program support to both internal and external customers.
* Operates under the functional guidance of Supply Chain organization and Corporate Purchasing Manual, while coordinating closely with other functional departments.
* Performs other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications:
* Education
* Bachelor's degree in business, JD, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field. C.P.M or A.P.P through ISM is a plus, or certification in NCMA. Masters degree is a plus..
* Experience:
* 3-5 years of related experience in subcontracts for complex US Government programs including experience in the Defense Industry.
* Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Acquisition Management System (AMS)
* Experience in the use, employment and requirements of various subcontract types including but not limited to T&M, Labor Hour, FFP, FPAF
* Strong, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity - Exemplary written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
* Ability to develop and negotiate teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and blanket purchasing agreements
* Demonstrated ability to act independently as may be required and demonstrated success in influencing or achieving critical requirements including those related to cost and schedule performance
* Other Requirements:
* United States citizenship required,
* Desired Qualifications:
* Successful applicants will have a keen interest in business/contract law.
* Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel or related software applications.
* Ability to work independently, manage large workloads with quick turn-around.
* Ability to apply sound judgment to problem solving.
* Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
* Exceptional organizational skills.
* Builds constructive working relationships characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation and mutual respect.

* The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
* The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
* USD $70,000 - $110,000
* Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
