Responsibilities: * What You'll Do: * This position will execute and administer various types of pre-award Subcontract Agreements and conduct pre-award proposal activities ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, legal guidelines, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements * Key Responsibilities: * Work on complex subcontract matters in both domestic and contingency locations * Provide Program Management with contractual guidance while exercising sound ethical and professional judgment within a broadly defined best practice and written policy structure. * Responsible for protecting the legal and financial interest of V2X during all discussions and interactions with customers and suppliers. * Drafts Request for Proposals * Develop source selection criteria * Analyzes cost/price data to determine price reasonableness * Leads negotiation efforts with subcontractors * Reviews and interprets clauses, formal amendments, agreements and legal documents. * Supports all internal and external audits and provides program support to both internal and external customers. * Operates under the functional guidance of Supply Chain organization and Corporate Purchasing Manual, while coordinating closely with other functional departments. * Performs other duties assigned. Qualifications: * Minimum Qualifications: * Education * Bachelor's degree in business, JD, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field. C.P.M or A.P.P through ISM is a plus, or certification in NCMA. Masters degree is a plus.. * Experience: * 3-5 years of related experience in subcontracts for complex US Government programs including experience in the Defense Industry. * Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Acquisition Management System (AMS) * Experience in the use, employment and requirements of various subcontract types including but not limited to T&M, Labor Hour, FFP, FPAF * Strong, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity - Exemplary written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others * Ability to develop and negotiate teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and blanket purchasing agreements * Demonstrated ability to act independently as may be required and demonstrated success in influencing or achieving critical requirements including those related to cost and schedule performance * Other Requirements: * United States citizenship required, * Desired Qualifications: * Successful applicants will have a keen interest in business/contract law. * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel or related software applications. * Ability to work independently, manage large workloads with quick turn-around. * Ability to apply sound judgment to problem solving. * Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. * Exceptional organizational skills. * Builds constructive working relationships characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation and mutual respect. * What We Bring * At V2X we strive to be market competitive in our total reward offerings. * The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. * The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. * USD $70,000 - $110,000 * Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States. * Please speak with a recruiter for additional information. * Employee benefits include the following: * Healthcare coverage * Retirement plan * Life insurance, AD&D, and disability benefits * Wellness programs * Paid time off, including holidays * Learning and Development resources * Employee assistance resources * Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time and may be modified at the discretion of the company, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
