What You'll Do:

* Manage regulatory documentation and submissions related to structural heart interventions.
*  Be responsible for educating the inpatient units on the procedures performed and the pre/post care required. 
* Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules/regulations necessary to understand criteria for admission. 
* Stay current on regulatory changes impacting cardiovascular programs.
* Support preparation for audits and inspections to uphold our high standards.
* Help develop and refine policies that keep our program running smoothly and safely.

What You Bring:

* RN and BSN are Required for this position. 
* Experience in regulatory affairs or healthcare compliance preferred.
* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in cardiovascular care.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's Degree, required. BSN required.

* Experience: Minmum of five years exp in disease/condition management programs or relevant clinical exp in the management of cardiac patients, required. CCRN or CVN, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN license in appropriate state, required.
* Additional Skills Required: Knowledge of structural heart necessary to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs in order to appropriately receive referrals. In addition to coordinating patient testing/screening and setting appointments. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules/regulations necessary to understand criteria for admission. Knowledge of nursing and pharmacy procedures and standards of practice, both general and specific, to the specialties of structural heart. Knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's needs and ability. Ability to work in collaboration with Physicians, Anesthesia services, and other interdisciplinary team members. Strong ability to educate patients on what is required to maintain good health. Ability to effectively collaborate with teams, groups, and committees. Demonstrate leadership ability. Ability to prioritize and organize. Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals at all levels of authority. Must be flexible, adaptable to change and able to apply problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills in meeting patient care and department needs. Must have computer experience. Must have reliable transportation to and from all work related assignments and activities. Must be flexible, versatile and adaptable to change. The Regional Coordinator will see patients in any of the satellite offices of Rowan, Huntersville, Matthews, Monroe, or other locations where our patients enter the system. These will be pre and post follow up appointments to structural heart procedures, as well as including outreach programs. The coordinator is responsible for educating the inpatient units on the procedures performed and the pre/post care required by the Acute setting staff. They will also maintain relationships with the vendor providers to either collaboratively or independently educate the procedural staff.
