				Overview:

Are you a creative problem solver with a passion for making complex ideas simple and engaging? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing content creation with hands-on program management? We're looking for someone to join our growing Partner Program team at Avalara, where you'll collaborate across departments to create content that empowers our internal teams and external partners. You will lead and drive the development of high-impact training resources and content that enable partners to drive programmatic success, while also owning key program management functions such as strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and tracking business-critical milestones.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive the execution of high-priority initiatives with measurable business impact. You'll be the go-to person for developing impactful, engaging content that drives partner success, while also contributing to key program management duties like managing timelines, risk, and cross-functional collaboration. We need someone who is adaptable, organized, and ready to jump in with both creative content development and program management support to drive impact.

Responsibilities:

* Drive the execution and ownership of key Partner Program content development, including training & documentation resources for the Partner Portal and general Program guidelines, to ensure internal teams and external partners are set up for programmatic success.
* Own key program initiatives by helping with scoping, planning, and managing timelines, ensuring that stakeholders remain aligned, and deliverables are on track.
* Drive the monitoring and reporting of key initiatives progress, proactively identifying risks, and leading cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
* Ensure consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and drive timely execution of program initiatives.
* Create clear and accessible documentation that enables smooth communication and understanding for all internal and external stakeholders.
* Own & lead cross-functional initiatives with business and technical teams to ensure deliverables are aligned with both partner needs and internal objectives.
* Define and spearhead evolving strategic plans to enable internal teams and external partners to learn more about the Partner Program to engage more and expand our partnership opportunities.

Qualifications:

* 5-7 years of proven experience in program management and content development, with a strong track record of driving results and leading strategic initiatives
* Ability to quickly learn new concepts and create clear, engaging content that empowers both internal teams and external partners
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to make complex ideas simple and accessible
* Experience developing training materials, resources, or other types of content
* Proven experience in program management, including tracking schedules, managing stakeholders, and ensuring alignment
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and shift focus between content development and program management tasks
* Strong organizational skills with a focus on simplicity and clarity in documentation
* Experience collaborating across teams, including with technical and business stakeholders
* Results-driven, with a passion for delivering impactful outcomes for partners and the business
* Required: Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint
* Preferred (in order of priority): Power BI, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Jira
* Nice to have: MS Project, SQL, other project management tools
* Fluent English.
