Responsibilities:
The Strategic Account Manager - Total Wine & More role services & supports the assigned National Key Account primarily focusing on growth with private label brands identified for Total Wine & More. This role also supports execution, state pricing management, new product development & forecasting; is responsible for identifying opportunities & developing fact based selling stories to secure distribution and incremental programming. This role also works with brand teams, new brand development, operations, global sales, quality assurance, customer service, & commercial finance when dealing with the Private Label portfolio.
Location: Field-based, remote role; candidates must be based in Florida, California, Texas, or the Washington, DC area.
Key Responsibilities (job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state):
* Grow Sazerac overall volume & share growth on Private Label Brands in Total Wine & More. Help identify and sell in distribution and programming on national account priority initiatives defined by the account strategy.
* Build Private Label Brands and launch innovation across the Private Label portfolio. Identify and sell in distribution and programming that support stated long-term objectives and use fact-based selling to secure distribution and promotional activity. Work closely with sales teams to gather state pricing and distribution information and execution/compliance.
* Strengthen existing and develop new relationships with key Total Wine & More personnel across the merchandising teams and replenishment teams. Focus on driving the current business and incorporate longer-term, strategic planning for Private Label portfolio.
* Fully accountable for setting up and managing the Private Label pricing structures for Total Wine & More. Secure, understand, and utilize national and state level pricing standards for Private Label & National Brands in order to act as Total Wine's advocate and drive programming. Manage Total Wine pricing and item maintenance.
* Focus on National Account priorities while understanding BCSPs in order to stabilize and leverage brands for growth. Monitor inventory levels across Sazerac warehouses & Total Wine stores and analyze replenishment to maintain instocks.
* Develop tools and processes that lead to insights and actions. Likely sources will include Nielsen, iDig/VIP, COGNOS, and Excel.
Qualifications:
Required
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales management in the alcoholic beverage or CPG industry
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving sales, operations, marketing, legal, and finance
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and translate into actionable strategies
* Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills with both internal stakeholders and external buyers
* Highly organized with a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Willingness to travel up to 10% as required for key meetings and trade events
* A valid driver's license

* Direct key account experience working with Total Wine & More
* Understanding of private label programs, including managing the end-to-end RFP process, vendor submissions, and go-to-market execution
* Experience in sourcing, product development, and pricing strategy in collaboration with supply chain and procurement teams
