Overview: Process and restock returned parts from productions areas through systems ensuring transactions are completed and filed. Responsibilities: * Systems transactions are completed and filed * Perform and audit daily cycle count within the main warehouse * Aid and pull parts for production * Process and restock returned parts from productions areas. * Must be able to receive and transfer parts to appropriate areas for distribution * Must understand and follow all safety requirements * Prepare units for shipping -- may include building crates and pallets * Support Lean Initiatives through 5S, LDMS, ACP's, RAT's, etc. * Possess skills to work with or without direction * May receive work assignments through oral and/or written instructions Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, and Baan preferred * Must be able to read and understand units of measurement (eg.; feet, inches, each, roll, etc.) * Position may require knowledge of office equipment, i.e. computer, calculator, hand scanner * Prior experience working in stockroom/shipping department is a plus * Willing to cross-train and work when needed across all areas of stockroom, shipping and receiving * Must be able to use power tools, i.e., saw, air guns, and nail guns * Must have the ability to operate a sitting and standing forklift * Must be able to perform work responsibilities with minimal supervision * Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs * Must be able to work with all levels of employees within plant/office and external customers * Must work well in a team environment * Must be able to accurately record and transfer information/transactions to required forms * Perform other duties as assigned Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5-day work week, 8 - 10-hourshift: Sitting - 1 - 2 Hours Walking on Concrete Floor - 6 - 10 hrs Standing on Concrete Floor - 6 - 10 hrs Lifting/Carrying - Up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently Bending - Occasionally Climbing - Occasionally to frequently up to 12 feet Crawling - Occasionally to frequently Squatting - Occasionally Reaching - Frequently Twisting - Frequently Push/Pull - frequently Up to a maximum of 125 lbs.
