				Overview:

To ensure all food and beverage equipment including cookware, tableware and serving items are cleaned, sorted and available for use by the food and beverage outlets and culinary team. Maintain a safe and clean environment in the kitchen and other food and beverage areas. Maintain all areas of the kitchen and all necessary items to operate the kitchen in a clean state.

Responsibilities:

* Clean dishes, tableware, glassware and silverware for all of the hotel's culinary 
* Cleans pots, pans, kettles, braziers, steamers and all other items needed for cooking
* Keeps dishwasher and pot washer areas clean, organized and safe
* Stores cleaned items in proper locations
* May assist with dish up in BQT kitchen
* Stocking the restaurant lines with plates, etc.
* Keeps the kitchen, loading dock, F&B storerooms and other food areas cleaned
* Maintains a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the back-of-the-house in accordance with the Department of Health
* Keeps kitchen floor area clean and free of debris
* After function breakdown
* Keeps all warming carts, speed racks and refrigerators clean and free of debris
* Cleans ovens, stoves and deep fryers
* Pulls items for BQT functions in accordance to what BQT captain has requested
* Use the "Power of One" to benefit customers and themselves
* Completes other duties as assigned
* Wears appropriate attire for the job at hand (shirt, non slid shoes, Omni hat, )
* Scheduled "deep cleaning" of hoods, walls, ceilings, etc.
* Proper sanitation methods and use of chemicals (cleaning agents).

Qualifications:

* Organize plates and glassware and put in proper locations
* Assists with quarterly china, glass and silverware inventories
* May assist in small prep assignments when slow

Tools and Equipment

* Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart

Working Environment

* Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures
* Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals
* Exposure to food items and beverages

Pay rate: $22.25-29.67/hour
