Essential Key Job Responsibilities * Responsible to disassemble, clean, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures. * Works with departments in the hospital and clinic to complete requests to dispense equipment, supplies and monitors department inventory. * Works to meet standards of reprocessing initiatives within the organization. * Assist team members on cleaning and turnover of OR room. * Assist other members of the OR Team as needed * Demonstrates understanding of the hospitals mission and values and demonstrate that in your work. * Demonstrate consistent alignment with our behavior standards. * Models fiscal responsibility by cost effective use of resources consistent with hospital and system goals. * Work within unit to maintain productivity standards. * Other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in practice in sterile processing field. Preferred Certification Previous one year experience in sterile processing
