Responsibilities:
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing professional, ready to take the reins and guide a vital team? Do you thrive on ensuring precision, patient safety, and operational flow in a dynamic surgical environment? If you possess a minimum of three years of dedicated sterile processing experience, including at least one year in a leadership capacity, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
* Guiding and mentoring a dedicated team of technicians, ensuring every instrument is meticulously processed and readily available for our surgical suites.
* Knowing that your leadership in sterile technique directly contributes to preventing surgical site infections and optimizing patient safety.
* Collaborating seamlessly with our OR staff to anticipate needs, troubleshoot challenges, and guarantee a smooth, uninterrupted surgical schedule.
* Implementing innovative strategies, embracing new technologies, and continuously elevating our sterile processing capabilities.

Qualifications:
* High School / General Studies (GED) required.
* Minimum three (3) years technical operating/instrument room experience required.
* Prior supervisory experience required
* AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required
* Fire Safety, within 90 Days of start date required.
* Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
* Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) required.
* Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT -CBSPD) required.
Preferred
* College Degree in a related field preferred.
* Accredited Central Service/Sterile Processing Program and/or Surgical Technology Program preferred.
* Hospital acute care preferred.
* Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) preferred.
* Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) within 6 months preferred.
