CommonSpirit Health's apprenticeship program's displays that our bold and compassionate mission not only applies to our patients, but to our employees as well. Our programs offer crucially needed uncertified payment while getting hands on with flexible scheduling, all accompanied by a top tier curriculum from local Community Colleges.

The Sterile Processing Apprenticeship Program is a hands-on, 6-month program starting on August 18th, that prepares students to take the CRCST through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. The program includes online learning and on-site labs at Front Range Community College. While going through the SPD Program, you will be hired to work with us as an Uncertified Sterile Processing Technician. CommonSpirit will pay your wage as you gain the skills necessary to pass the certification exam, and once certified you will have a seamless transition to a fulltime certified role. 

* Schedule: 35-40 hours a week in SPDI role, 3-5 days a week Monday-Friday, while going to school 1 day which to be successful accounts for 10 hours a week.
* Location: Sterile Processing Department at St. Anthony Hospital. 
* Educational Partner: Front Range Community College, Westminster Campus
* Classes held at St. Anthony North Campus at Westimnster Campus, all day on Sundays

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* Computer skills, required
* Enrolled in Front Range Community College Sterile Processing Program, required
* CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 18 months of hire or transfer, required
