Join our team as a Sterile Equipment Tech Lead. In the Sterile Equipment Tech Lead role you will:

* Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. 
* Be responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization, maintaining records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards. 
* Maintain certification, monitors and instructs certified and non-certified personnel. 
* Communicate with departments and staff throughout the day to maintain a smooth work-flow. 
* Assure daily task assignments are completed. May be requested to assume responsibility in the absence of the Supervisor and/or Manager. 
* Be involve with training in competency of tasks performed by the staff and participates in hospital wide educational projects.

Schedule:  Monday- Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, would help cover weekend and holiday rotation (7:00am - 7:00pm)

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 

* 2 years of sterile equipment processing, required
* Computer skills, required
* HS/GED required
* One of the following primary Central Services certifications is required upon hire or transfer: CRCST, CBSPDT
* One of the following post-primary certifications is required within one year of hire or transfer: CIS, CSIS, CER, CFER, CHL, CSPM, CASSPT

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
