Overview: As a Statistical Programmer you will be joining the world's largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence. Responsibilities: What you will be doing: * Complete programming activities under supervision * Take responsibility for timely completion of all assigned development task * Understand and apply a basic knowledge of industry standards * Identify and begin to interpret problems in processes/results and communicate them to supervisor/manager * Develop understanding of all applicable policies and procedures of GSK * Execute assigned tasks with high quality, integrity and attention to detail (with some supervision) * Perform Quality Control (QC) of own work independently * Keep manager/supervisor informed of progress and activities; escalates issues as appropriate * Works effectively and collaboratively within own team Qualifications: You are: * Able to lead studies under supervision. * Able to demonstrate strong programming and domain expertise. * Able to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal supervision. * Able to identify gaps in current programming best practices and offer suggestions for improvement. * Minimum 3 years' experience within Statistical Programming in a clinical environment.
