Dominican offers emergency services and is a Certified Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. The hospital's heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average and the hospital offers two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient's chest.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
* By direction of the Engineering Services Management Associate or the Chief Engineer, the position will utilize blueprints, service manuals, sketches, or verbal directions to troubleshoot, repair, and service hospital support equipment as required.
* The position will also perform inspections of the physical plant equipment including boilers and performs water testing of boilers and cooling towers makes chemical adjustments and manual adjustments as needed to control water chemical balance and TDS levels.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
* Minimum of five (5) years in the field of facility support and the ability to exhibit a strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems and/or the successful completion of Stationary Engineer apprenticeship.
Preferred:
* Three (3) years of hospital facility service is preferred with the ability to exhibit sound working knowledge of electrical,mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
