Responsibilities:

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

As a Staff Technical Product Owner, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the PMO, the architecture team, Business Analysts, and other software application SMEs and teams at Dish to deliver API integration across BSS, OSS, and 3rd party vendors. The ideal candidate is experienced in implementing modern cloud-based platforms and tools and has an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and excellent critical thinking skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

* Align product vision with business goals, secure stakeholder buy-in, and evangelize the product roadmap to drive transparency and cross-company alignment.

* Act as the liaison between engineering teams and stakeholders, managing service interface decisions, data modeling impacts, and cross-team delivery dependencies.

* Lead iteration planning, break down work into actionable user stories, and continuously prioritize and groom product backlogs for full-stack, cross-functional teams.

* Perform Scrum Master and Product Owner responsibilities, facilitating key Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand-ups.

* Manage, organize, and track sprints and project releases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet defined goals and expectations.

* Provide training to other Product Owners, share completed work, communicate backlog progress, and report Scrum team metrics to promote best practices and alignment.

Qualifications:

Experience and/or Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
* 6+ years of enterprise product ownership experience
* 6+ years of enterprise experience in determining and documenting requirements
* 6+ years of enterprise software/API integration experience

Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong technical knowledge of data models, data management, APIs, integrations, and OpenAPI specifications.

* Familiarity with enterprise solution architecture principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and support technical issues.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams, including offshore resources.

* Self-starter with the ability to navigate and adapt within complex technical environments.

* Wireless retail, AWS or other cloud platform experience, and knowledge of API management tools like Apigee are highly desirable.

* Development experience with Java, SpringBoot, or Node.js is a plus.
