Overview: N/A Responsibilities: Staff Engineer - Software II sought by DISH Network LLC in Englewood, CO. Build a cloud native, web scale platform and the tooling that surrounds it. Develop CI/CD pipelines for a large complex set of diverse applications. Enable the core platform services for our organization to consume - Kubernetes, Cloudwatch, DNS, IPAM, load balancing, Networking on Hybrid cloud. Build & Manage advanced AWS services like SSO, Organization, Service Catalog, Account Factory, Control Tower - Landing Zone. Build a next generation cloud platform based on AWS Managed services viz. Lambda, RDS, Elasticache. Maintain, optimize cloud platform hosting massive, complex systems for performance, security, reliability and scalability. Design, Build, optimize cloud platform with focus on cloud security tools viz. Web Application Firewalls, Service control Policies, RBAC, Security Hub. Develop dashboards using 3rd party tools viz, New Relic, Dynatrace to monitor service reliability and performance metrics (SLI and SLO). Innovate automation capabilities in the cloud platform and create new feature sets as per the application patterns for hosting in cloud using AWS services viz. AWS config, Lambda, Step functions. Helping application development, operations, testing, delivering software in an agile environment, continuously. Qualifications: Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or closely related field plus 5 years relevant progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or software developer or application development associate manager. Also requires 5 years of work experience with/using the following: * Enterprise development, operations, SRE, platform, and/or infrastructure experience * Building and managing large, highly available enterprise grade cloud based platforms using AWS APIs for automation using Python. * Code using Cloud Formation and Terraform. * AWS Control Tower and Service Catalog. * Build AWS Cloud Security tools in control tower. All experience may have been gained concurrently.
