Perform requirement formulation in consultation with business, data architects, and data analysts. Prepare project artifacts - ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) technical design solutions, plan of records, and schedules. Perform business requirement gathering to analyze business needs and provide technical design for projects. Comply with client's proprietary solution standards specifically with respect to connectivity to disparate databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL server and Cloud databases - Redshift, Snowflake). Perform user acceptance testing support, support production deployment, and provide post deployment production support. Conduct technical design walkthroughs with the team to start ETL code development. Develop proof of concepts, resolution of technical issues, and development of key modules (e.g. migration of data warehouse to the Could Platform using AWS, ETL code development for both "on- premise RDBMS data warehouse ", and "cloud data warehouses). Monitor and implement cost optimization solutions for AWS services.
Qualifications:
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field plus 4 years of experience in job offered or Architect or similar roles. Also requires 4 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
* AWS technologies and services (EC2, EKS, and EMR).
* Working in large data warehouses and with different data sources.
* Data stores and databases (S3, Athena, Redshift, and Snowflake).
* Writing shell scripts and python scripts.
* Working with cross-functional teams.
