GFT is seeking a Staff Level H&H Engineer to join our Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team in Fort Worth, TX! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Fort Worth, TX office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Engineer with 4 years of H&H experience for Fort Worth, TX Office.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Development of drainage impact studies and engineering reports (including CLOMRS & LOMRS)
* Preparing drainage construction plans and specifications
* Assisting in compiling watershed drainage studies, master plans and engineering reports
* Multi-tasking, setting priorities and meeting deadlines with limited direction
* Utilizing high-performing workflow processes to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget
* May provide direction to and supervision for junior level engineers
* Communicates independently with clients
* Able to work in multi-disciplinary teams and lead tasks and simple project teams
Qualifications:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required
* PE in State of Texas Required
* 4-7 years experience in H&H
* Proficient in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP SWMM and Microsoft Office
What we prefer you bring:
* Experience with 2D modeling software packages beneficial but not required
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
