Overview: Responsible for managing a case load from inception to resolution. Responsibilities include pre-trial discovery, drafting pleadings, communicating with involved parties, and presenting defense strategies in court. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization. Qualifications: Required: * Licensed by both the New Hampshire and Vermont State Bar * Knowledge of State laws, local court policies and procedures * Strong legal research and writing skills * Experience with supervision and development of more junior attorneys * 11+ years' relevant practice group litigation experience Preferred: * Multi-state Bar admittance * Experience with Team Connect legal software and dictation * Managerial experience of a litigation group This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
