Responsibilities:

* Assists in the accurate and timely preparation of property financial statements in a centralized environment. 
* Maintains accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy.   
* Completes detailed month-end account reconciliations for the complex trial balance accounts. 
* Prepares monthly analyses on complex trial balance accounts. 
* Researches variances to budget and any unexpected movement in the trial balance.
* Initiates month-end journal entries.
* Ensures the validity of all adjusting and accrual entries. 
* Monitors and analyzes the monthly activity of the payroll and benefit-related accounts. 
* Monitors and analyzes the accounting for monthly marketing accruals. 
* Monitors and analyzes the accounting for banking and Credit card entries and reconciliations.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
* Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

* Associate's Degree (A.A.) from college or univeristy; or at least one year of relative experience; or equivalent combinatino o education and experience. 
* Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization.  
* Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. 
* Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests. 
* Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly. 
* Ability to work independently, identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook). 
* Must have ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. 
* Must be detailed oriented.
