The Staff Accountant II joins the Cash, Investments, and Debt team to manage financial reconciliations and complex data tracking. This role resolves variance issues and supports closing activities across financial systems to maintain data integrity. The position ensures accurate reporting and seamlessly supports cross-functional teams through structural financial shifts.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

* Manage and reconcile investment, cash, and debt portfolios to ensure accurate month-end reporting
* Analyze and resolve reclassification variances; maintain data integrity between core financial systems
* Support month-end closing activities by preparing schedules and populating external partner data
* Collaborate across departments to drive structural financial changes and process improvements
* Leverage AI financial tools to streamline data analysis, variance detection, and reporting accuracy

* Excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial issues clearly and integrate stakeholder feedback
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, formula management, and reporting
* Deep technical accounting knowledge and a commitment to high-quality financial standards
* AI literacy and application skills to enhance data processing efficiency and reporting workflows

Minimum Requirements:

* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
* Minimum Experience: Core experience in cash, investment, and debt portfolio management
* Required Technical Skills: Technical proficiency in:
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* Financial systems reconciliation
* Month-end closing schedule preparation
