Currently we are looking for Staff Accountant 3.

The Staff Accountant 3 will be a member of the General Accounting Team and provide cross functional support to revenue accounting and internal audit. The role's primary  responsibility is  the accurate and timely compilation, posting, analysis of financial activity, and supporting timely audit cycles

Responsibilities:

* Analyze, compile, and record financial activity from multiple locations and countries and communicate with internal auditors and domestic and/or international accountants
* Record journal entries and prepare supplemental information to support the entries and provide assistance to team members as they prepare journal entries
* Calculate and prepare accruals and supplementary schedules to ensure expenses are properly stated and in the correct period and assist team members as they prepare accruals
* Prepare reconciliations and advise on the accounting for complex non-standard transactions
* Research complex reconciliations issues
* Complete month end closing tasks and monitor the closing checklist ensuring a strict adherence to the closing timeline
* Analyze financial activity to ensure adherence to GAAP and operate as the first point of contact for team members seeking guidance
* Assist with the audit requests by compiling and analyzing the requested documentation, while ensuring appropriate support is provided

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* Minimum 5 years experience required.
* 1 - 3 years experience as a Staff Accountant preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* ERP experience
* Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
* Able to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment
* Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
* Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
* Detail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy
* Dedicated to the success of the team and driven to learn and stay current professionally
* Agile, and anticipates and prepares for future events and outcomes; regularly examines issues and plans with a long term perspective
* Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
