Overview:
* Tier One Technologies is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Administrator Specialist to support our US Government client.
* This hybrid contract-to-hire position will be located in Raleigh, NC.
* SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities:
* Based on functional specifications and application reviews, recommend/create application configurations, standards, and administrative evaluations.
* Confirm that the configurations conform to company's standards.
* Document and verify the work being done meets company's standards.
* Perform application support activities as specified.
* Provide new development requirements as needed.
* Unit Test the systems and provide SIT/CAT plans/assistance.
* Act as an escalation point for company's ServiceNow Support for end user related inquiries or consultation of the ServiceNow Application system.
* Perform application and end user support as required; perform SME ServiceNow customer support.
* Monitor company's and IT ServiceNow emails and Incident tickets requesting technical assistance.
* Perform required Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level and Asset Management.
* Submit updates to common data elements: categorizations, application data, location data, user data, knowledgebase articles, support group roles, report design, and CMDB.
* Implement assigned Change Requests.
* Perform monthly ServiceNow audit activities as defined by the company.
Qualifications:
* A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience is required.
* 8+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical field.
* Strong knowledge of policy and procedural tasking as it applies to ServiceNow administration.
* Must hold a current ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
* Demonstrated experience in administering, including ServiceNow platform configuration, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.
* Hands-on development experience with custom workflows, scripts, portal design, and system integrations within ServiceNow.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, with working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
* Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
* Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Residence status (Green Card).
* Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years and have not traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
