As a Market Development Specialist, you will focus on supporting sales and implementing marketing activities. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Service, and Sales to drive Waters' business growth in local territories. Your technical knowledge and hands-on experience in an analytical chemistry lab are highly valued to support Waters' Customer Success. This position covers the Food & Environment market in the (Insert job territory here) region.
Responsibilities:
* Own and drive market strategy and growth plans for the Food & Environment market
* Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities in close alignment with sales leadership
* Lead value proposition, market positioning, and commercial strategy to support complex deal closure
* Oversee and guide demand-generation and marketing initiatives for the F&E segment
* Partner with HQ/AHQ and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution excellence
* Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
* Represent the company as a market leader at key industry events and forums
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience:
* At least 5 years work experiance in Food or Environment industry
* UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing experience is a plus
Skills:
* Proven experience in driving and executing market strategies within a relevant industry
* Professional maturity with a proactive, accountable, and results-driven mindset
* Strong customer orientation with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and end users
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
* Languages: Korean (native), English (professional working proficiency)
* Adaptable to dynamic and changing environment
