Overview:
Join Waters' high-impact Sales & Commercial Operations team and help simplify the path to impact by turning complex commercial data into clear insights that guide strategy, optimize sales performance, and accelerate revenue growth. In this highly visible role, you'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Regional Commercial Operations leaders to design and enhance dashboards, territory and quota models, incentive frameworks, and CRM processes that directly shape how we go to market and serve our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support sales performance, forecasting, and funnel management.
* Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regional Comm Ops Leads and other cross-functional teams to optimize commercial strategies and execution.
* Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and risks.
* Support territory planning, quota setting, and support incentive compensation modeling.
* Drive improvements in CRM data quality, usage, and reporting (e.g., Salesforce).
* Lead initiatives to streamline and automate reporting processes and tools.
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
* Monitor and report on revenue performance against targets, identifying variances and root causes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* 4-6 years of experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, or revenue operations, preferably in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
* Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
* Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP platforms.
* Solid understanding of revenue operations principles and sales funnel metrics.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
* Experience with Marketo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Gong.
* Familiarity with incentive compensation design and modeling.
* Knowledge of life sciences industry trends and commercial models.
