We are looking for a technically strong, customer-facing Rheology Sales Specialist to grow TA Instruments rheology business in your territory. You will combine deep application understanding with consultative selling to help customers select the right rheology solution and win share in a highly competitive market.
This is a high-impact specialist role: you will lead technical conversations end-to-end, develop competitive strategies, and drive predictable pipeline to deliver AOP and sustainable growth.

* Own the rheology product portfolio in your territory and position TA Instruments' differentiation clearly (e.g., measurement performance, ease of use, application breadth).
* Run consultative discovery with R&D/QC labs (industry, universities, institutes) to translate application needs into a winning technical and commercial proposal.
* Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, opportunity qualification, demos/workshops with application team, proposal/tender support, negotiation, and close.
* Build and execute competitive strategies to win against key competitors; capture and share competitive intelligence.
* Develop a healthy, forecastable pipeline; maintain accurate CRM (e.g., Compass) data, funnel hygiene, and monthly forecasts.
* Collaborate cross-functionally (applications, product management, marketing, service, channel partners) to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and identify upsell/upgrade opportunities.

Required
* Bachelor's degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
* 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience in scientific instruments; rheology, thermal analysis, or materials characterization experience is strongly preferred.
* Proven ability to sell to a mix of industrial and academic customers (e.g., new energy/battery, advanced materials, pharma/biopharma, food).
* Strong technical communication skills in Mandarin; working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
* Comfortable with frequent travel (typically 40-50%).
Preferred
* Hands-on application knowledge in rheology (e.g., low-viscosity measurements, LAOS, DMA-related workflows) and the ability to lead high-quality technical discussions.
* Good understanding of the China rheology competitive landscape and ability to translate insights into win plans.
* Experience working with distributors/channel partners while maintaining direct sales ownership.
