We're seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in Azure, and network security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support our mission of empowering Americans to connect health and wealth with consumer driven healthcare. 
What you'll be doing (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
* Implement a micro-segmentation strategy for cloud resources based on least privilege and zero trust principles
* Build and optimize cloud-based disaster recovery and backup strategies for all cloud and on-prem applications
* Migrate business applications from a traditional on-prem environment to the Azure cloud
* Design secure and performant network infrastructure to support an on-prem VDI to Azure Cloud AVD migration
* Implement additional cloud-based firewalls to support platform and environment level segmentation
* Migrate B2B VPN tunnels to cloud based alternatives
* Expand BGP usage to support more robust redundancy with our various business partners
* Strict egress internet filtering based on allow lists
* IaC and automation in the deployment and configuration management of network infrastructure
* Migrate on-prem call center infrastructure to cloud native or SaaS system
* Improve monitoring and observability capability thru Azure native tools and traditional tools
* Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
* Monitor network performance and integrity
* Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
* Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
* Mentor team members on technical issues
* Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery)
* Maintain complete technical documentation
* Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
What you will need to be successful (Skills, Knowledge, & Experience)
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols and deep experience with Azure networking services (AZ-700 cert is not required but demonstrates this)
* Expertise in network security processes and products (prior experience on an Infosec, NetSec, or Network Team)
* Proven experience in Palo Alto firewalls and security software (PCNSA or PCNSE demonstrates this but is not required)
* Demonstrated knowledge in routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
* Profeicency in traditional network fundamentals such as Cisco switching and routing (CCNA demonstrates but is not required)

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
