Responsibilities:
The Sr. Manager, HR - Labor Relations will support labor initiatives and report to the Sr. Director, HR and Labor Relations. The role will develop and execute labor relations avoidance strategies in the distribution center network. In addition, the role will be responsible for CBA negotiations and support grievances with the local and regional human resource leaders. 
The role will require the leader to work with corporate, legal, and field distribution/warehouse leadership teams in supporting a positive labor relations culture. The leader must be skilled in the areas of strategic influence, leveraging KPIs, employee relations, and project execution. The role will serve as support (Center of Excellence) to the distribution/warehouse and corporate teams working as a trusted advisor to foster an environment consistent with KeHE' s Culture, Mission and Values. 
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within distribution, warehouse, retail, ecommerce, and /or transportation
* 5+ years of experience in labor relations, union avoidance, mitigation strategies, and/or unionized environments 
* Strong knowledge of employes laws and HR best practices 
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
* HR Certification - PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP preferred 
* Must be able to travel 30%-50% 
* Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.

Must be able to occasionally lift, move, or carry 30-40 pounds. The associate will be required to stand, walk, climb and sit at times in the warehouse. While in the warehouse environment temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm, {Freezer temperatures: (-10 degrees) | Refrigerator temperature (25-35 degrees).
