Overview: The Sr. HR Systems Analyst will primarily support the Workday Analytics suite configurations while driving improvements to functionality and analytics supporting our HR Analytics team and HR Compliance teams. The Sr. Analyst will also provide additional support to other Workday products such as Core HCM. This individual will serve as a technical expert by driving long term direction and design requirements. They will analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements, overseeing the specifications, development, and implementation of reporting, processes, and functionality. They will be responsible for configuring business processes, managing a SOX compliant security framework, and the setup of condition rules, notifications, and reports. A Day in the Life: * Functional Area/Subject Matter Expertise * Serve as the Workday Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide consulting services to key stakeholders and leadership regarding system issues, enhancements, upgrades/releases, and best practices * Utilize analytical and technical skills to translate business needs and convert them into requirements; identifies opportunities to better leverage Workday to support the HR Analytics vision * Partner with functional team to review and maintain report library, data architecture; collaborate to design a analytics framework for the organization * Consultation * Builds relationships with and presents to multiple levels within the organization, including senior leaders * Consult and support the analytics framework for business partners * Consult and support key HR compliance initiatives, company reporting, HR Analytics dashboards, discovery boards, and other government reporting * Project Leadership/Solution Focused * Leads projects, configures and tests system functionality, and delivers effective and impactful results * Manage partnerships with Workday/3rd party consultants and internal IT teams to impact projects and provide solutions to meet specified requirements * Technical Capability * Manage project workload at times for Analysts and Specialists; teach/develop technical skillsets of others * Design and write reports to drive analytics that support business needs, provide key insights, and enhance the use of Workday dashboards * Maintains technical and industry knowledge, understands current trends and strategies in technology, and develops professionally through training, research, and active participation on Workday Community and other forums You'll Come With: * Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business-related field preferred. * A minimum of 5 years HR technology experience, with at least half of that directly in a systems analyst role * Previous Workday configuration experience required; success creating complex calculated fields, and developing eligibility, validation, and condition rules; ability to move between modules * At least one Workday Pro Certification (HCM or specific functional area) * Previous experience configuring Workday Discovery Boards, Prism Analytics preferred * Functional knowledge of core HCM data management, technical knowledge of EIB loads, and experience with standard testing procedures * Consultative nature with an emphasis on process improvement, providing high quality and creative solutions * General understanding of reporting/analytics best practices * Previous experience leveraging SQL and other large data models to transform complex data sets preferred * Advanced Excel skills and successful execution of project management fundamentals * Understands/considers the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes, and takes a systemic approach to problem solving * Excellent time management skills in projecting timelines and meeting deadlines * Exercise considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature * Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude Come join our team.
