About this opportunity
The Senior Finance Business Partner is the link between Finance and Marketing Leadership, acting as trusted advisors and providing valuable analysis and insights to influence the decision-making process. This key position will work closely with Business Leaders in Europe, to ensure key commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
The role would establish strong partnership with all assigned Business Leaders maintain an objective mind in evaluating their performance as a group. It will require ability to work closely with the regional Finance Teams. This position will report directly to the Senior Director FP&A EMEA.
In this role, you will
* Lead Finance Business Partner supporting VP Marketing, MLT (Marketing Leadership Team), and DSO Business Leadership by Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies.
* Deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions related to:
- Portfolio changes, new product introduction
- Promotions and Discounts programs
- Marketing Investments
- Commission structure
- Performance measurement
* Present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk.
* Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
* Elevate the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance by actively communicating and interacting with Business Intelligence and Marketing Directors and integrating KPIs in current/forward looking reporting.
* Design and develop new reports and reporting capability using system automation Business, Objects BI reporting tool. building models to support AOP planning and l performance assessment.
* Understand the cost drivers of the business and provide insight to the non-finance users.
* Ensure financial data Financial Planning systems are accurate and complete.
* Undertake project-based work for specific strategic business initiatives.
In this role, you'll need
* 10+ of relevant Finance experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively in order to explain financial concepts to non-finance people.
* Advanced Financial Management and performance management skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills required.
* A proactive leadership and self-starter attitude, work independently with minimal supervision, International experience and mind-set.
* Ability to interact with and influence key decision makers and think strategically.
* Ability to prepare and analyze P&L components, with related financial metrics.
* Ability to work on complex issues and perform in-depth evaluations and knowledge of layout and design best practices for reports and dashboards.
* Fluent in English (Preferably additional european language).
* Ability to travel abroad up to 25% of the time for training and internal meeting purposes.
