About this opportunity
This position is responsible for external clinical education programs for the GP channel, to drive adoption of the Invisalign system, iTero intraoral scanner and Align Digital solutions, for Align Technology across EMEA. Responsibilities fall in two broad categories, but may not be limited to:
* Creation and maintenance of clinical education pathway and engagement activities for new and existing providers. Create and maintain clinical education resources and platforms for customers.
* Work collaboratively with Marketing and Clinical Managers, as well as external partners to drive cohesive approach to doctor engagement in treating patients with the Invisalign system
In this role, you will
* Contribute to Local and EMEA Education Strategy & implementation.
* Establish with fellow Education Managers a one-to-two-year horizon roadmap for educational program implementation to achieve optimal customer experience with Align and our educational programs.
* Create and roll out clinical education programs to drive confidence and skills of doctors.
* Educational resources: copy writing, proof reading, agency briefing & development.
* Collaborate closely with Global, EMEA and local teams to drive doctor engagement activities.
* Track execution against plans and communicate status to all relevant constituencies including senior management.
* Manage and maintain existing and new educational platforms or programs, including university curricula.
* Manage and liaise with Align faculty members and speakers, especially to co-create content in relation to Tier 1 Events and Congresses.
* Oversee development of clinical content and integrate evidence into educational assets.
* Make recommendations to support the successful integration of educational projects cross-functionally.
* Assure EMEA consistency and work with Global and local teams to streamline requirements.
* Work closely with local teams and Translation Lead/Agency to coordinate the translation of educational assets.
* Manage back-end processes to support effective implementation of educational events.
* Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to facilitate clinical case studies, clinical presentations, publications and dissemination of clinical research.
* Have Budget responsibility for clinical education activities.
* Build networks and drive effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Sales, Clinical Specialists, Marketing, and external partners (i.e., universities, education partners).
* Other duties as assigned
In this role, you'll need
* 6-10 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years' experience working in an education, product specialist or clinical specialist role
* Experience in Medical Education field and/or DDS degree or equivalent.
* Expertise in state-of-the-art education design / instructional design
* Strategic Thinking
* Strong time and project management skills
* Action and Results Oriented mindset
* Appetite for initiative and challenging status quo
* Demonstrative Leadership
* Competence in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and overall computer and computer organizational skills
* Fluent in English. Knowledge of any additional European languages is an asset.
