				Overview:

Leads the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of educational conferences and events for Nationwide Children's Hospital in collaboration with committee content experts.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinates and manages all aspects of conferences and events, including logistics, budgeting, registration, and marketing. Manages large, highly visible, complex national and international education programs. 
* Leads program evaluation, tracking progress and ensuring quality outcomes. 
* Recommends and implements data-driven improvements.
* Collaborates to develop and maintain event and conference timelines and schedules, ensuring successful execution.
* Stays up-to-date on latest technology trends to deliver innovative and cost-effective conferences and events.
* Assists leadership with strategic planning and policy development for the program.
* Mentors team members on projects, events, and conferences. 
* Directs and evaluates work of conference support staff.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Education, or related healthcare field, required.  Master's Degree or equivalent experience, preferred

Licensure Requirement:Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

 Skills:

*  Proficiency with education and conferencing software and with MS Office. 
* Effective supervisory, organizational, and project planning skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, data analysis, and analytical thinking skills.
* Ability to effectively interact with leaders at all levels in the organization.

Experience:Three years of experience in education or conference planning or in accreditation compliance, required

 Experience with large scale program planning, fiscal management, and project management, required.

Physical Requirements:OCCASIONALLY: Climb stairs/ladder, Communicable Diseases and/or Pathogens, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 26-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs

FREQUENTLY: Bend/twist, Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Flexing/extending of neck, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Sitting, Squat/kneel
