PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Sr Card Product Manager, Reward Products at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to drive credit card product and digital experience, in support of effective portfolio growth, engagement, and profitability. The role will coordinate across stakeholders including Marketing, Decision Science/Analytics, Credit, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and external partners. This position requires experience in customer lifecycle of financial products, driving customer engagement, and leading digital transformation.

* Lead holistic portfolio strategies to drive overall card performance and profitability
* Manage portfolio programs to promote cardholder engagement, stimulate card spend, and appropriately offer balance transfers.
* Own end-to-end cardholder experience including EMOB programs, lifecycle strategy, graduation strategies, and cardholder retention
* Partner with Operations teams to address pain points and improve customer satisfaction
* Lead digital strategy, work with partners to prioritize and execute digital roadmap, driving adoption of digital tools to enhance self-service capabilities and user engagement
* Develop personalized marketing strategies using data analytics and customer segmentation to target desired populations
* Partner with Marketing and Analytics teams to create test & learn strategies and portfolio program measurement and assessment.
* Engage with Credit to help support optimization of card credit policy for acquisitions, for both targeted and untargeted prospects.
* Work with Marketing, Decision Science/Analytics, Risk, Member Services, Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, and external agencies, partners, vendors, and service providers.
* Write core business requirements that Technology, external vendors and other partners can translate into system and design requirements for development
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for credit card products and portfolio strategies including policies, operations, and technologies integral to delivering products or enhancements to members
Qualifications:
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
* Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
* Minimum of ten (10) years of working experience in credit card or related industry is required.
* Minimum of two (2) years of working experience relating to financial services marketing, analytics, market research, or credit risk portfolio management are required. Such experience includes but is not limited to customer engagement and lifecycle strategies, portfolio performance, new product development, existing customer management, credit risk analysis, and industry/competitive benchmarking within a financial services environment.
* Experience with the credit card industry, competitive products, and card offers across digital and other channels.
* Hands-on skills in SQL, Python/R, Tableau, VBA, and proficiency working with large dataset are preferred.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel (i.e., Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, index/match, SUMIF) and PowerPoint skills are required.
* Ability to use data to illustrate business performance, risks, and develop materials for all levels of the company.
* Understanding of the credit card P&L and financial drivers.
* Proven project management and executive presentation skills are required.
* Strong communication skills.

This position will not supervise employees.
