Overview: GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work on-site in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, supporting Manitowoc Cranes. This is a possible long-term assignment requiring on-site work Monday through Thursday, with optional remote work on Fridays. Candidates may start any time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, ending by 5:00 PM, offering flexibility within that range. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with key stakeholders to drive business process improvements and systems innovation within a global manufacturing context. Responsibilities: * Facilitate business process improvement, system development, and application support across manufacturing operations. * Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and communicate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs. * Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for medium complexity projects including planning, research, design, testing, implementation, training, and documentation. * Design and review test plans and assist in user acceptance testing, defect reporting, and resolution. * Support custom and third-party applications involving diverse business technologies. * Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and maintain quality documentation. * Participate in peer reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement. * Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to business personnel in relevant areas. * Communicate project status, risks, and change management across stakeholders and leadership teams. * Meet or exceed IS Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or MIS, or 13 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree. * Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology, with 3 years hands-on experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, system design, and application support. * Experience managing ERP systems such as Baan or e-Emphasys, including complex integrations with external systems. * Project management experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies, leading projects exceeding $50,000 in scope. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to stakeholders at all levels. * Experience designing and executing QA test plans, as well as supporting user acceptance testing.
