				Overview:

The Sr Analyst, Incentive Compensation Systems will independently manage and drive compensation projects, they will take lead on supporting business leaders and Incentive Team with implementing changes and requests for the supported systems. This individual will partner with all stakeholders and support teams to provide guidance on the capabilities / limitations to implement changes. This position requires a highly analytical person with a background in Finance and Data Analytics, who is comfortable with multiple compensation and HRIS systems, solving complex business problems and performing detailed statistical and financial data analysis that can be acted upon to improve the internal operation and overall understanding of compensation processes and structures, that also has a strong interest in systems and identifying new technology that can create a better experience.

Responsibilities

* Own the day-to-day execution and management of PDS compensation programs (primarily  focused on variable pay programs) and support systems to ensure appropriate governance and  adherence to PDS's pay-for-performance philosophy.

* Drive cross-functional alignment with HRIS, Finance, IT, Accounting and Payroll to continuously  assess, streamline, and automate scalable end-to-end compensation processes highly focused on  the support and integrations needed for Anaplan.

* Work closely with team leads and business SMEs to analyze new requirements, configure and  build solutions and resolve production issues.

* Design, develop, and deliver high quality reporting dashboards.

* Knowledge of Anaplan Space Optimization and Formula Tuning

* Able to do front ending with the customer and perform stakeholder management.

* Lead production support issues based on severity and work with other teams to resolve them in a  timely manner.

* Lead existing Anaplan models and build new modules/models as needed.

* Prepare artifacts like detail designs, tech specs, data flow diagrams and business architecture  diagrams.

* Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.

* Lead in building business requirements needed for system updates and test and audit plan results. 

* Utilize various qualitative and quantitative analysis, modelling and reporting to aide business  leaders in executing compensation decisions and programs.

* Audits monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive calculations for more complex incentive plans that  include several components. 

* Perform variable incentive program reconciliations, providing root source analysis to resolve  issues.

* Monitor incentive payouts and projections providing updates to management throughout plan year.

* Uses historical trend information and expertise in market and business environments to create  projections used for budgeting, forecasting, and plan changes.

* Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional to identify trends and developments in  competitive environments and present findings to management.

* Design, build and maintain robust compensation reports and dashboards and provide leadership  with real-time visibility into compensation business insights and incentive plan results.

* Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields and/or equivalent combination  of education and experience.

* 5 -7 years of experience working with incentive administration/modeling software.

* Advanced skill with Excel, ability to build imbedded formulas, comfortable managing large data sets  from various sources.

Preferred

* Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.

* Experience in full development life cycle of Anaplan Models, participated or lead in the  implementation of Anaplan.

* Previous experience with Incentive Management System.

* Detail oriented, organized, and process focused on data analysis and compliance of state and  federal laws.

* Ability to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited information.

* Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

* Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and  other members of the business community.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. 

* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical  situations.

* Ability to handle and maintain extreme confidentiality with employee records, compensation  information, etc.
