Responsibilities: The Commercial Vehicle Spotter is responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles, spotting trailers in the yard, loading and unloading of trailers and performing yard checks. This work will be primarily outdoors and the spotter will be exposed to the elements. Typical schedule would be Sunday - Thursday 7pm - 5am with availability to fluctuate for the business. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * 2 years prior experience of OTR driving experience or training school equivalent. * Certified Driver's License (CDL) Class A. Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude: * Must be able to operate sit down forklift to OSHA certification. * Must be highly motivated self-starter and be able to work independently. * Must be detail oriented. * Need to be able to adapt to changing conditions. * Have ability to listen to and follow directions. * Must be able to follow established procedures. * Must have a good attendance and tardy record. * Must be able to communicate in English both written and orally. * Must have a valid CDL license and good driving record. The associate is frequently required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate to high.
