Responsibilities:
SUMMARY: Greet and seat guests in restaurant in a courteous and timely manner, and ensure that they receive quality food and service.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
* Answer the phone. Take reservations, answer inquiries, take messages.
* Seat guests, greet and show them to seats.
* Maintain service in dining area. Check on customers periodically to ensure customer satisfaction with the food, service, etc.
* Assist with side work of servers and bussers (e.g., napkin folding, silverware polishing).
* Assist servers with set up tasks: wipe down station; straighten, polish, and roll silverware; wipe down and polish stem ware; refill condiments; wipe tables and chairs; check linens, etc.
* Assist servers with closing tasks: reset station for next shift, complete all closing duties according to assigned side work.
* Provide positive communication and use ACES Service skills with every patron and co-worker.
* Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
* May be required to perform duties at the Lawrenceburg Event Center (LEC).
* Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school education or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
REASONING ABILITY:
Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Cast Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull 150 to 250 lbs on a pushcart, and enter walk-ins of -10 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit with or without assistance. Must handle heat from cooking appliances, glassware and washing machines. Requires normal or corrected vision range, with the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. Ability to stand for duration of shift walk frequently, bend and/or reach to a height of 6 feet with or without assistance (stand, sit, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp).

* The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
