Responsibilities: Position is open until filled Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers Team Members: Now hiring candidates 18 or older for all positions, including gaming licensed positions (Must be 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender) * Health Benefits Insurance package effective Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability for FT team members * $700 Referral Bonus Program ($350 at 90 days $350 at 6 months) - for Team Members who refer new applicants * Discounted Casino bus tickets * Discounted RTD EcoPass * Hot meal served by the Leadership Team once a month * 20% discount for Starbucks, Ara Spa, and all food outlets * 100% Colorado Gaming License reimbursement after 90 days of employment * Hotel discounts available at all 43 PENN properties, plus discounts on goods and services * Education reimbursement program and Annual Scholarship Program * Career development opportunities Responsibilities include: * Take orders, accurately input orders into the computer, and deliver orders back to players within Sportsbook and Poker areas. * Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition in a timely manner. * Must be familiar with menu, daily specials, and preparation of foods and prices. * Use suggestive selling (i.e., cocktails, appetizers, desserts, etc.). * Take customer's orders and accurately input the order into the computer. * Observe and anticipate guests' needs, keep the table clear between courses, and beverages filled throughout their meal. * Complete assigned side work and additional daily tasks. * Inform immediate supervisor if situations arise with guests or fellow employees that cannot be handled directly. * Other duties as assigned for guest service expectations in restaurant. Qualifications: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent Team Member and customer relations skills * Ability to work any shift or hours. * Must have good cash Handling skills. * Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. * Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests. * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Previous cash handling experience is helpful. * Must have excellent guest service skills. * Must have basic math skills. * Must be very friendly and outgoing. * Ability to work any shift or hours. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
