Responsibilities:

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech language pathology therapy assessments and treatments to patients in the home setting. Provides training to patients family members and caregivers. Participates in orientation of new team members. Interacts with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care. Actively participates departmental meetings and performance improvement activities as requested.

Qualifications:

Requirements

* Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of California Board of Medical Quality Assurance (LIC SPL)
* Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
* Must have current California Driver's License (DL CA)
* Clean driving record with proof of liability insurance for automobile

Preferred

* Two (2) years professional experience as a speech therapist
* Working with adult and child language speech disorders and swallowing
* New graduates considered on an individual basis
