Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Participates as a member of the health care team, working with professional, non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum continuity of care to referred patients, addressing the age of the patients served.

Qualifications:

**Offering a 7,500 Sign-on Bonus for qualified applicants

Minimum Qualifications: 

* Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist
* Current BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
* One year experience as a speech therapist
* Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation
* Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy
* Ability to implement practical application of knowledge
* Ability to function independently and autonomously
* Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English
* Ability to teach and instruct patient, family, and staff

Preferred Qualifications: 

6 months to one year home health experience preferred
