As a Market Development Specialist, your focus will be on boosting sales of Shure's conferencing product lines across Brazil. You'll play a pivotal role by generating demands and opportunities and directly interacting with influential end users, AV integrators, distributors, and channel partners.
Responsibilities:
* Implements strategic plans to seed and go-to-market with new products and technologies. Monitors and reports on competitive activity, both from a product and market development standpoint.
* Executes educational programs, presentations, conferences, seminars, clinics and other events with Sales Management to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company products.
* Conducts visits to end-user customers, integrators and AV distributors to prospect and develop opportunities.
* Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to influence purchases and specifications with key end-users and influencers. Assists distribution partners in identifying and closing leads and opportunities.
* Identifies needs for education programs and helps to deliver presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure's product categories. Works with Marketing on technical and logistical support for conferences, seminars, and other special events.
* Identifies and forms relationships with potential customers outside of the current Company revenue stream.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Conferencing market with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and equipment and continues developing professional expertise.
* Background or experience within Audio Visual Integration, Video Conferencing, and related fields is preferred.
* Knowledge of audio DSP technology is desired.
* CTS-D certification is a plus.
* Experience with Microsoft products is desired.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of Salesforce and/or similar CRM tools.
* Organized, with excellent follow-up credentials.
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
* Language Skills: Portuguese required, English and Spanish desired.
