Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Specialist to join Shure's Global Marketing team focused on Channel Enablement.
This role is tailored for those with a foundational understanding of marketing in an international B2B environment, who are eager to advance their careers by contributing to complex, global marketing programs.
You will be instrumental in the implementation of channel marketing tactics and programs primarily aimed at UC/IT channel partners, with a secondary focus on AV channel partners in global AV & UC Corporate, Government, and Educational markets.
This role will be based hybrid out of our Niles, IL HQ.
Responsibilities:
Channel Communications: Develop and implement timely and consistent communications primarily for UC/IT and secondarily for AV Channel Partners and internal stakeholders. Support and advise Global and Regional Marketing teams to ensure effective communication to and through the Channel. This includes channel bulletins, monthly newsletters, corporate-level announcements, and messaging on Shure.com and other digital platforms.
Co-Marketing Activities: Support and coordinate co-marketing activities with relevant channel-focused industry alliances and partners. Participate in and develop vendor partner offerings, communication activities, content campaigns, events, training efforts, and other co-marketing programs.
Performance Metrics: Recommend, develop, and implement KPIs to measure Shure's evolving success with its Channel Partners. Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights and continuously improve communication tactics, content strategies, and overall channel marketing effectiveness.
Campaign Management: Manage campaigns for the channel, working closely with our agency and data platform. Ensure accurate content is available on these platforms, the right banners and other types of digital ad placements are utilized, and continuously monitor performance data. Optimize campaigns accordingly to achieve business goals and enhance the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Channel Engagement and Enablement Innovations: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, propose tactical refinements, and come up with innovative ideas. Apply industry best practices and generate new methods to share information and develop new types of assets to effectively communicate to and through the channel.
Collaborative Environment:
This role will closely interact with team members from the Global Conferencing Marketing team, other vertical teams (Events & Content), global support teams (Graphics, Marketing Operations, IT), and regional sales and marketing teams. Key stakeholders include channel partners, industry alliances, and internal functional teams.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in an international B2B environment. Experience with technology products or services is a plus.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media advertising, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects while being detail-oriented.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and complex matrix environment.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Occasional Travel may be associated with this role.
Preferred Attributes:
* Multilingual abilities: Preferred but not required; an advantage for working in diverse, global markets.
* Industry experience: Specific experience in marketing technology products or services is advantageous.
* CRM and CMS experience: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus, especially experience with tools such as Salesforce and Sitecore.
