Responsibilities:

As our Special Procedures Technologist, you will be a vital clinical professional, applying specialized X-ray energy for patient diagnosis or treatment.

Every day, you'll meticulously perform complex radiological procedures and techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You'll ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning, operating advanced equipment with precision and upholding imaging standards.

To be successful, you'll combine strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

* Performs echocardiography and color flow doppler mapping in an efficient and effective manner appropriate for the
* patients condition and status; performs studies in a timely manner.
* Performs vascular diagnostic studies in an efficient and effective manner appropriate for the patients condition and status; performs studies in a timely manner.
* Assists physicians in the performance of Stress echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography ensuring efficient and timely performance.
* Performs HOLTER monitoring in a timely manner including patient set up, scanning and report preparation.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years experience with 2D, M-Mode echocardiography, color flow doppler mapping, peripheral arterial and venous imaging, carotid duplex scanning, stress echocardiography, TEEs, 3 channel holter monitoring
* Associates Of Science degree in cardiovascular technology preferred
* Fire Safety, within 90 Days
* AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
