Overview:
This position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner at the Omni Louisville Hotel's Speakeasy, Pin & Proof.
Responsibilities:
* Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
* Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest
* Answer phone and record reservations for large parties
* Control high volume outside of restaurant
* Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guests
* Assist servers when needed
* Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year experience as host in similar dining atmosphere or other relevant F&B experience
* Open Table knowledge preferred
* Stong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to handle sensitive guest situations
* Developed customer service skills with refined phone etiquette
* Professional appearance, high energy and strong organizational skills
* Works well with others, pro-active team player
* Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
* Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
* Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
* Must be STAR certified.
* Must be Food Handlers certified.
