				Overview:

This position is responsible for developing, implementing and managing Outsource Procurement strategies and developing a global supply base in response to business needs. The Sourcing & Procurement Lead develops RFQ's and cost models to ensure market competitiveness for all purchases using knowledge of key cost drivers for assigned materials and by developing value stream analyses. Partners closely with the Business Unit, and cross-functional leaders for RFQs and supplier selection to support new product release and business growth.  

The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management to lead initiatives spanning strategy, analytics, process transformation, digital enablement, capability building, sustainability, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, from market analysis and supplier identification to business award. 
* Lead RFQ and supplier selection processes to ensure the best possible value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
* Development and execute on the global outsourcing strategy that meets Zebra's business objectives and provides a sustainable competitive advantage in the market.
* Drive the identification, evaluation, and development of new suppliers to enhance our supply chain capabilities and mitigate risk.
* Drives alignment between global supply base and organizational needs in technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery/availability, and cost.
* Maintain a high level of product and industry awareness to keep current on best practices, new suppliers, market trends, etc.
* Act as a strategic partner to Business Unit leaders, understanding their needs and translating them into effective sourcing solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but no limited to Engineering, PMO, Technical and Product Operations, and Supply Chain Operations, to ensure alignment and successful supplier selection for new programs.
* Drives project to completion within specified timeframes and according to sourcing requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

*  Bachelor's degree preferred with a preference for Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related

*  MBA, CPSM is a plus

* 12+ years as a procurement professional

*  Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel), presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint), Oracle iProcurement, Scout, and SpendHQ (or similar programs).

*  Equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of a degreers as a procurement professional

*  Perform significant total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research, conduct the most complex pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.

*  Work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost improvement programs and resolve significant and unique strategic supplier performance issues to ensure business satisfaction.
