				Overview:

The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist II will provide support to Category Managers with key tasks and activities related to Zebra's Five Step Strategic Sourcing Methodology. This position should have the ability to work semi-independently (with limited to modest Category Manager involvement) across the strategic sourcing methodology steps and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

* This GSM global supply management role is designed to identify, escalate, and solve part shortages impacting our ability to meet our customer requirements.  This individual will use existing tools and processes to work on shortages and come up with process improvements.

* Manage the PSM (Part Shortage Management) process and system
* Actively participate in the weekly Supply Assurance call where we review all critical component supply shortages; discussing the latest demand requirements and supply commits
* Drive actions from Global Supply Planning, Component Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, and Engineering to resolve component supply shortages
* Ensure all teams and companies are focused on the component shortages which represent the biggest impacts to Zebra and its customers
* Follow existing open market purchasing strategy, process, and approved supplier list.
* Reduce our PPV related to open market component purchases
* Document the expectations of our Tier 1 suppliers to solve component shortages and ensure we have a robust process to ensure our Tier 1s are adhering to these expectations prior to escalating to Zebra for help
* Identify and drive improvements in our PSM system
* Deliver operational goals for key metrics

* Review and analyze Zebra spend, prepare opportunity analysis, and key reports for category strategies, stakeholders, and executives of moderate scope.
* Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the strategic sourcing process including supply market and supplier research, analyze and prepare RFx summaries, develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, communication with suppliers and stakeholders, project scheduling the key project milestones, selection and supplier review/evaluations, Zebra value sheet preparation, etc.
* Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the preparation of supplier negotiation preparation, communication and documentation, project planning, contracting process with submission and management with Zebra Legal.
* Utilize the existing tools for eAuctions, spend and RFx management, etc.
* Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the strategic sourcing methodology for smaller value purchases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
* Maintain appropriate procurement records and documentation.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required with a preference for
Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Supply
Chain, Engineering, or related; MBA, CPSM is a plus.
* 2-5 years of sourcing and procurement experience.
* Excellent professional communications (verbal and written)
with suppliers, stakeholders and management.
* Proven spend analytical skills including ability to drive data collection and analyses, interpret and draw conclusions, and effectively summarize results
* Resourcefulness gathering specific supply market research and intelligence that support making strategic sourcing business decisions
* Ability to problem solve with limited data and ambiguity
* Proven negotiations results from Strategic Sourcing process

* Established customer service skills, with an understanding of customer relationship building, communications and teamwork
* Self-disciplined and the ability to self-motivate and work successfully with a multi-disciplinary team
* Demonstrated project management skills with a desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced,
changing environment
* Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel), presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint), Oracle iProcurement, Scout, and SpendHQ (or similar programs).
