Overview: St. Luke's Health-Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP-Very Important Pregnancy-experience. Since 2008, our experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff have provided expert care to support our community. Responsibilities: Performs ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director; Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging test inclusive of positioning patient, equipment management, and documentation of findings. * Performs ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director 2. Prepares equipment ensuring that it is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards 3. Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems 4. Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards 5. Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained Qualifications: Required: *ARDMS, ARRT, or RCS *CPR-AHA BLS within 14 days Preferred: *Associate's Degree preferred
