Responsibilities:
Your Role & Impact
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams that guide clinical decisions and treatment. You will:
* Perform & Lead: Conduct advanced ultrasound exams independently and assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
* Patient Care & Preparation: Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
* Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Utilize and maintain state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to produce accurate, high-resolution images.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other imaging professionals to provide efficient, patient-centered care.
* Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and regulatory standards across all imaging procedures and documentation.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED - Required
* Associate Degree - Preferred
* Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program - Required
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of sonography experience - Required
Certification & Licensure:
* Certified in three ARDMS specialties:
