Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
* Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures using ultrasound technology.
* Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to capture accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to support efficient, patient-centered care.
Ensure safety protocols are followed in every step of the imaging process.
Qualifications:
* What We're Looking For
Education
* Associate Degree (Required)
* Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program OR a CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program (Required)
Experience
Licensure/Certification
Required:
* Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography OR
* Certified and registered by ARDMS in at least one specialty (RT(S) or ARDMS)
* Must be credentialed within 6 months of hire if not already certified
* Certification requirements apply across all locations (Medical Center, Diagnostic Testing Facility, Outpatient Departments, and Medical Group Offices).
