Overview: The Solution Architect plays a critical role in supporting Graitec's growth across North America by partnering closely with our sales organization to position, demonstrate, and architect the right solutions for clients in the AEC industry. This is a hybrid presales role that combines technical expertise with strategic customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a trusted advisor, and a visible thought leader, comfortable presenting to customers, speaking at events, demonstrating innovative workflows, and championing emerging practices including AI-driven approaches. The Solution Architect ensures that prospective clients clearly understand the value of Graitec and partner technologies by conducting technical discoveries, delivering tailored product demonstrations, advising on best-in-class workflows, and preparing high-quality scopes of work that enable successful solution delivery. A typical week includes: * 80% Presales engagement * 10% Marketing and thought leadership activities * 10% Continuous learning, research, and innovation Key Responsibilities: Presales & Customer Engagement * Partner with Sales to conduct technical discovery, understand customer objectives, and identify opportunities for Graitec solutions and services. * Deliver tailored software demonstrations that align solution capabilities with customer workflows and business outcomes. * Present solution strategies, architecture recommendations, and value-based messaging to executive and technical stakeholders. * Develop detailed scopes of work for product implementations, configurations, and customizations. * Advise clients on software selection, deployment approaches, and workflow optimization across architectural and construction disciplines. * Support customer meetings, webinars, industry events, and conferences as subject-matter expert. Thought Leadership & Industry Advocacy * Represent Graitec as a recognized expert in the AEC technology landscape. * Champion innovative digital practices, including automation, AI-enhanced workflows, and emerging industry trends. * Contribute to marketing initiatives such as webinars, conference presentations, and content creation that position Graitec as an industry leader. Internal Collaboration & Innovation * Coordinate closely with Professional Services to ensure seamless handoff of requirements and project scope. * Provide structured product feedback to R&D based on customer interactions and workflow insights. * Engage in ongoing professional development to broaden expertise across Graitec and Autodesk technologies and explore new platforms and methodologies. Foundational Competencies * Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into meaningful business value. * Confident presentation and facilitation skills in both customer and public environments. * Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and industry partners. * Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage presales priorities and identify risks early. * Collaborative, resourceful, and methodical problem-solving approach. Responsibilities: * Extensive experience with architectural or construction software such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (Docs, Design, Coordinate), or similar tools. * Strong understanding of BIM principles, coordination workflows, and industry standards. * Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Experience working with sales teams or participating in presales activities is highly advantageous. * Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polished delivery style. * Strong dependability, follow-through, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Nice to Have: * BIM Level 2 certification or prior experience as a BIM Manager. * Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. * Experience with Graitec products or similar AEC workflow-enhancing technologies. * Background supporting digital transformation initiatives or advanced technology adoption within AEC organizations.
